Salt & Pepper Chicken & chips!

Salt & Pepper Chicken & chips!

This was super tasty and really quick and easy too!

I peeled some potatoes, chopped them into chips. In a bowl i mixed a teaspoon of olive oil with garlic, 5 spice, szechuan pepper, chilli powder, salt & pepper. I then coated the potatoes in this and popped in my ninja air fryer on bake and roast setting for 20 minutes.

I then diced some chicken and in a bowl mixed the above spices in some cornflour. I then coated the chicken in the cornflour and let sit for a couple of minutes while i fried a few sesame seeds. Please ensure these are weighed out as sesame seeds carry a high calorie count - so if you use them make sure they are weighed! I then added the chicken once the sesame seeds were toasted.

While the chicken cooked I mixed gluten free soy sauce (again soy sauce works just the same) with some honey. I then chopped some yellow pepper up and added that in with the potatoes so that's around the 10-12 minute mark. Once the chicken is cooked and the potatoes are nearly done, I chucked some greens in there but you can use more peppers or spinach if you want to. I then coated the chicken and greens in the soy sauce and honey and let it cover it and cook for a few minutes until it had thickened down.

Pop the chips and peppers in a bowl and the chicken on top and then sprinkle a few sesame seeds on top too!

My portion was 650 calories and 57 grams of protein!
